OriginalFake x Medicom Toy Pinocchio/Jiminy Cricket

Official imagery of the OriginalFake x Medicom Toy Pinocchio & Jiminy Cricket set has been made available. Following a preview earlier in the week, we can now take a better glance at the latest from KAWS and his continued alliance with Medicom Toy. The set will retail for ￥17,640 (Approx. $206 USD), with a release date set for August 28th at the OriginalFake store in Tokyo. A drop through other global retailers should be expected soon as well.

Canon takes another stab at perfecting the point-and-shoot camera by creating the PowerShot G12, the current successor to the PowerShot G11. This time, Canon equips the PowerShot G12 with a 5x wide angle (28mm-140mm) zoom and IS (Optical Image Stabilizer). Capable of taking 720p HD videos and improved so that one can take better shots in low light settings, the Canon PowerShot G12 is a perfect alternative for the consumer not interested in the bulk and complexity of a DSLR camera.

Upon its release, the Canon PowerShot S90 effectively stole he limelight from Canon’s top-of-the-line compact G-series line of cameras. Establishing itself as a powerhouse offering in a small package, a new update has been revealed. The compact camera boasts further enhancements of the original S90 including re-developing the body for an even smaller footprint. New additions include an HDR mode, 720p video recording and a new anti-slip coating derived from the 7D DSLR. Some of the same elements of the original S90 are preserved including the 10 MP sensor, innovative control ring and f2.0 lens. Available later this month with a suggested retail price of $400 USD.
