STOCKTON - Two men have been arrested for the shooting death of 27-year-old Jason Joiner last month at March Lane and Kentfield Road.

Chuong Nguyen, 28, was arrested at about 5 p.m. Tuesday at Wilson Way and Lafayette Street, police said, while Vesan Sem, 20, turned himself in to Philadelphia police Thursday and is awaiting extradition from Pennsylvania. Sem had gone to Philadelphia after Joiner's murder, Stockton police said.

Stockton police reported that, about 12:35 a.m. March 28, Joiner had stopped at March Lane and Kentfield Road when a car pulled up alongside his and someone inside fired several shots at him. Joiner's car then jumped forward, hit a median and struck a third vehicle at the intersection.

Joiner was taken to St. Joseph's Medical Center, where he died about an hour later.
