Japanese retailer Museum Ark has once again created a custom collection of footwear with legendary English shoemaker, Tricker’s. Two models worth noting include a standard and timeless black suede wingtip as well as a more innovative calf leather longwing fused with a Vibram Christy outsole. The calf leather longwing does come across as a bit odd with a slim upper combined with a substantial outsole. Both styles are available now exclusively at Museum Ark.

Previewed is a set of Vans Classics Era 59 from the brand’s 2010 Fall/Winter Collection, showcased within the Class@ASR. The kicks feature a canvas upper, highlighted beautifully with rich leather accents on the heel and tongue panels, along with a classy plaid lining, carrying on a sophisticated, slightly nautical approach with its counterpart in the pack, the Zapato Del Barco. Three different colorways are set to launch in July 2010.

In a further look into The North Face’s Japan-based Purple Label, we take a look at two of their bag offerings, the Medium Day Pack and the Fanny Pack. Both styles incorporate multi-colored uppers with the Medium Day Pack incorporating a relatively unorthodox bag design which divides the back into top and bottom compartments.
